Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shooto Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wai Ting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ting has chosen Sum 41 - Still WaiTing as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki punishes Ting's body with a nice straight punch.

Ting shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aoki tries to kick Ting off but Ting keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Aoki is looking for a sweep. Ting is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ting wants to work for an arm triangle but Aoki is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Ting goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Aoki turns into him and now he's in Ting's guard.

Aoki slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Aoki stands and throws Ting's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Ting tries to bench press Aoki off him but Aoki keeps the position.

Ting sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Ting has his foot on Aoki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Aoki works his way back into a safe position though.

Aoki rolls with it to try and escape but Ting cranks on the arm and Aoki is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
