Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luis Mejias!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Manson!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mejias moves forwards but Manson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Luis Mejias has been cut.
Manson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Manson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mejias counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Mejias drops his hands momentarily and Manson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Manson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Manson scores with a nice strike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Manson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mejias tries to clinch but Manson is having none of it.
A left and a right from Manson both land. Nice combination.
Mejias is rocked!
Mejias moves away from the strike by Manson.
Oh Mejias is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mejias thows a body shot but no joy.
A combination from Manson does no damage.
Mejias seems to have got his legs back now.
Manson misses with a left hand
and Mejias cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Manson lands a hook that stumbles Mejias back into the cage. Manson follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Mejias to the canvas! Manson pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Mejias has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Charles Manson!
In his post fight interview, Charles Manson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
