Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyrell Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Summers's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Last Chance. On his way into the cage it seems that Tyrell Summers has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tyrell Summers seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyrell Summers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Kevin Bishop!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers misses the jab.
Summers with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bishop to score with a decent uppercut.
Bishop fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Summers on the side of the head.
Bishop tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Summers was well out of range. Poor timing from Bishop.
Bishop lands a front kick.
Bishop stuns Summers with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bishop.
Bishop throws out a loose jab but Summers uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bishop pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bishop pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bishop looks to land a right hand but Summers moved out of range.
Bishop has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bishop there as he acknowledges the shot.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bishop on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Summers is trying to get an arm triangle but Bishop is defending well.

Summers working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Summers goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bishop rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Summers's guard! Nice work there by Bishop!

Let's hope that Bishop has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bishop bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Summers's head backwards.
Summers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bishop.

Bishop uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Summers.
Summers lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Bishop lands a really nice looking cross but Summers seems unphased.

Summers throws a poor cross that misses
and Bishop counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bishop, as that shot connected.
Bishop has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bishop throws a series of punches but Summers avoids them all with ease.
Summers connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Summers tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bishop is able to avoid easily.
Summers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bishop moves away.

Kevin Bishop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

I would just about give that final round to Kevin Bishop.
I've got Bishop winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
