The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Threadgood shoots in for a takedown but Bundy shows good takedown defense.

It looks like Ted Bundy has been cut.
Threadgood throws a leg kick that misses.

Threadgood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bundy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Bundy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Threadgood shoots for a takedown but Bundy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Bundy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Bundy is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Threadgood had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

That has opened up Ted Bundy's cut even more.
Bundy walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Threadgood is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bundy.
Bundy tries to close the distance and clinch but Threadgood swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Threadgood takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Bundy scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buddy Threadgood. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Threadgood swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Threadgood uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bundy.

Threadgood throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Threadgood shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bundy sprawls well. Bundy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Threadgood gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Threadgood cracks Bundy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Threadgood dives in and scores a takedown into Bundy's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Threadgood throws a strike but Bundy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bundy won't allow Threadgood to get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Threadgood shoots in looking for a takedown. Bundy tries to sprawl out of it but Threadgood keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bundy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ted Bundy's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Bundy's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Threadgood tries a body shot but Bundy blocks it.

Bundy blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Threadgood is trying to push Bundy away but Bundy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Buddy Threadgood will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Bundy lands a brutal uppercut that launches Threadgood off his feet! Threadgood tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
