Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Cassel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragnar Sigurdsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cassel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Team America. Tom Cassel looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cassel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sigurdsson, pushing him back against the cage.
Sigurdsson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Sigurdsson tightens his grip and picks Cassel up, before dumping him to the ground. Cassel manages to land in guard.

Cassel is looking for a triangle but Sigurdsson pushes his legs off easily.
Cassel wants to stand up but Sigurdsson is controlling him.
Cassel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sigurdsson is one step ahead there.
Cassel scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Cassel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cassel wants to get back to his feet but Sigurdsson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Sigurdsson lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Sigurdsson throws a big elbow that misses.

Sigurdsson content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Cassel has locked up a guillotine! Cassel's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Sigurdsson is holding on here and Cassel must be using up a lot of energy. Sigurdsson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Cassel gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

A determined Tom Cassel didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
