Yuy is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Coma Black - Marilyn Manson. Heero Yuy has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Baby Blue's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blue circles away quickly and effectively.
Yuy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yuy throws a right and a left that both miss.
Blue slips under a jab from Yuy.
Yuy throws a series of punches but Blue avoids them all with ease.
Yuy swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Blue to counter with a crisp jab.
Blue lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yuy circles away quickly and effectively.
No joy there for Blue, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Yuy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Blue was covering up waiting for the punch and Yuy finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Yuy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blue circles away quickly and effectively.
Yuy tries to bum rush Blue with a series of wild strikes but Blue uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Blue counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Blue dodges the punch combination from Yuy.
Blue displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yuy throws out the jab.

Yuy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Yuy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Blue to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yuy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blue paws at him with a jab and circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Baby Blue will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Blue! Yuy is out on his feet! Blue rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Yuy is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Yuy is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
