The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lahammer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Lahammer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Blondi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lahammer.

Lahammer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Lahammer is working for a kimura but Blondi is defending it quite comfortably.

Lahammer wants to work for an arm triangle but Blondi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Blondi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lahammer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lahammer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Blondi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lahammer has managed to get both his arms back between Blondi's legs - danger averted.

Lahammer is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Blondi looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lahammer gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Blondi is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lahammer lets go of the hold and Blondi can pop his arm back in it's socket.
