The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucanan moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Tucanan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Waleczny shoots in but Tucanan avoids the takedown attempt easily.

It looks like Miron Waleczny has been cut.

Waleczny shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tucanan's guard.

Waleczny thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Waleczny drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Waleczny jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tucanan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Waleczny wants to improve his position but Tucanan is controlling well.

Tucanan stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Tucanan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Waleczny goes for a takedown attempt but Tucanan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Waleczny looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gaute Tucanan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miron Waleczny.

Gaute Tucanan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Waleczny is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Tucanan moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
