Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Galvao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfred Hitchcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galvao tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Galvao throws a series of punches but Hitchcock avoids them all with ease.

and Galvao counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Hitchcock shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Galvao makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Hitchcock really felt that one!

Hitchcock tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Galvao paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Galvao throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Hitchcock looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Galvao with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hitchcock is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Hitchcock stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

That was a close round but I would say that Andre Galvao will probably get the nod.
