Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quack Smack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smack might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Believe. Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: All Summer Long. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smack stuffs the takedown attempt from Silva. Silva gets slowly back to his feet.

Smack shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard.

Silva throws his legs up looking for a submission but Smack uses it to pass to side control.
Silva tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Silva tries to improve position but can't.
Smack lands a decent elbow from side control.

Smack stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Silva is in trouble now - Smack has advanced to mount!
Smack breaks from Silva's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Silva slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva tries to roll over but Smack keeps him under control.
Smack looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Smack wants to pass to mount but Silva is defending the position.
Silva is trying to maintain the position but Smack is very close to passing his half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Silva is not content to let Smack control the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Silva bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Silva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smack.
Smack misses with a takedown

so Silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Smack lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Silva!
Silva regains half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Silva is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Smack wants to pass to mount but Silva is defending the position.
Smack is nestled in close to Silva, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Silva is trying to control but can't.
Silva makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Silva.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Silva manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Silva prevents Smack from getting the reversal.
Silva tries to control but Smack wriggling away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Silva fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That was a close round but I would say that Quack Smack will probably get the nod.

The fighters are battling for position here. Silva manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva is trying to keep Smack in close.
Silva throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Smack has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Smack tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Silva.
Quack Smack overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Silva is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Smack pulls his head out easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Silva throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silva feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Smack's calf.
Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Smack counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Smack wants to stand but Silva has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Silva has his feet on Smack's thighs here. He's pushed Smack off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Smack screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
