The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malinowski shoots in and gets a takedown into Peters's guard.
Malinowski stays in close to Peters's body and controls the position.
Malinowski with a flurry of punches that miss.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Damian Malinowski.
Malinowski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Peters slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Peters has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Malinowski doesn't defend quickly enough and Peters has managed to lock this one up! Can Malinowski escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Peters on a fantastic submission victory.
