Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephan Kirkson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mello Shain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirkson comes to the cage accompanied by Bring Tha Noize. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirkson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shain tries to avoid it but Kirkson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shain to the ground. Shain escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kirkson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kirkson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kirkson tries to clinch but Shain is having none of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Stephan Kirkson will probably get the nod.
