Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the ring accompanied by Fabolous - Breathe . Phil Davis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Couture!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture throws a right and a left that both miss.
Couture scores with a jab to the head.
Davis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Davis tries for a takedown but Couture sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Davis tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Couture manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Couture works over Davis's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Phil Davis has been cut.
Davis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Couture's waist but Couture gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davis off to one side.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Couture throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Davis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Couture counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phil Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Couture moves into range and clinches up with Davis.
Davis's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Couture lands a right hand.
Couture cracks Davis with a nice body shot.

Couture lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Davis.

Couture digs a right hand underneath Davis's ribcage. Davis let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Couture lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Couture throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Daviss head.

Couture breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Couture lands a big right hook! Davis looks hurt but is still standing! Couture lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Davis falls down and Couture dives in with a huge hammer fist! Davis's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Couture runs up the ropes to celebrate with his fans!
