Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erick Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lie has chosen we right here as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lie dodges the punch combination from Silva.
Lie tries to clinch but Silva moves out of range.
Lie misses with a few strikes there.
Lie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lie falls off balance throwing a combination
and Silva counters with a good, hard body kick but Lie shrugs it off.

Lie moves into range and clinches up with Silva.
Lie wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lie tries to break free but Silva pushes him back against the cage.

Lie wants to get back to striking at distance but Silva won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Silva gets to his feet. Lie looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
