Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raylan Givens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fjalar Ollongren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Raylan Givens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Fjalar Ollongren!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Givens throws a leg kick but Ollongren moved away.
Givens connects with a solid leg kick.
Ollongren shoots in but no luck this time.
Ollongren ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Givens moves away.
Ollongren just misses with a punch to the body.
Ollongren tries to close the distance and clinch up but Givens swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Givens is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ollongren sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Givens rushes Ollongren and presses him up against the cage.
Givens scores with a nice hook to the head.
Givens throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Givens lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ollongren has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ollongren and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Givens fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ollongren.

Ollongren on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Ollongren blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ollongren is working for takedown but Givens is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ollongren swings wildly with an uppercut but Givens uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ollongren's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Ollongren is pushing Givens up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Raylan Givens will probably get the nod.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ollongren enables Givens to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ollongren manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

I would just about give that final round to Fjalar Ollongren.
