PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Samson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levi King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Samson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Venture Brothers Opening Theme. King has chosen Lou Reed - Perfect Day as his entrance music. Levi King will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King moves away from the strike by Samson.
King fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Samson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Samson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract King.
King keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
King takes one to the chin there.
Nice uppercut there from Samson.
King takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Samson misses with a low kick.
Samson pivots, looking for a leg kick but King is out of range and Samson settles back down.
King avoids a kick to the body.
Samson throws a hook but King avoids it easily.

Samson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Samson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Samson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Samson swings around for an armbar but King sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Samson's guard.
King pushes down on Samson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Samson is looking to improve his position.
King scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Samson moves into full guard.

Samson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Samson is looking to sinch up a triangle. King throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Samson's body to avoid the submission. Samson has instead reached around King's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Samson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
