And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tiny Tim!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rogers throws a looping overhand right but Tim ducks down to avoid it.
Tim throws the kick towards the body but Rogers avoids it.
Tim lands a leg kick that knocks Rogers off balance momentarily.
Tim lands a head kick!


It looks like Steve Rogers has been cut.

Rogers darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Tim wants to control but Rogers is keeping busy.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rogers thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tim tries to roll over but Rogers keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rogers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tim avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rogers.
Rogers lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Tim wants to control but Rogers is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Tim is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rogers lands a nice short elbow.
Tim is trying to get back to full guard.

Rogers throws an elbow but Tim slips to the side and avoids it well.
Tim takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
