The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galiei tries to clinch but Bartholomay moves out of range.

Bartholomay closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bartholomay lands an elbow.
Bartholomay fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Bartholomay scoring with punches and elbows.
Galiei is not content to let Bartholomay control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee asks Bartholomay politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bartholomay prefers to stall for the moment though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Galiei dodges the ground and pound from Bartholomay.
Galiei is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

It looks like Cirilo Galiei has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bartholomay scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Galiei is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Bartholomay can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
