The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasegawa shoots in for a takedown but Dakis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Hasegawa fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dakis sprawls well initially but Hasegawa persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dakis is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hasegawa is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dakis sees it coming and defends easily.

Dakis had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hasegawa defends it easily.

Hasegawa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dakis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hasegawa has managed to get both his arms back between Dakis's legs - danger averted.

Dakis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hasegawa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Dakis frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Hasegawa is in a horrible position here. Dakis smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
