Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anton Chigurh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolai Kovalenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chigurh comes to the cage accompanied by Kvelertak-Mjod. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anton Chigurh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolai Kovalenko!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovalenko scores with a three punch combo!
Chigurh closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Chigurh moves in looking to clinch but Kovalenko pushes him off.
Chigurh does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Chigurh tries to clinch there but Kovalenko circles away.
Kovalenko fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chigurh lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kovalenko!
Good exchange - Kovalenko coming out on top.
Chigurh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kovalenko sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Chigurh gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Chigurh tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Kovalenko is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Chigurh buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Chigurh!! Chigurh is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Kovalenko throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nikolai Kovalenko!
Nikolai Kovalenko very nearly forgot to thank Milwaukee's Best 160 SALE $150 amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
