The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alves takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Go ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Go lands with a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Go lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Go connects with a good right hand that stumbles Alves. Alves circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Go scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Oh Alves is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alves misses with a series of wild punches.

Go is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Alves had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
