The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hyldahl tries to sprawl but Hatterway drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Hatterway is trying to control. Hyldahl wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hyldahl really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hatterway. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hyldahl is defending against the submission attempts here by Hatterway.
Hyldahl is looking for a sweep. Hatterway is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hatterway is working for a kimura but Hyldahl is defending it quite comfortably.
Hyldahl flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Hatterway wants to pass the guard but Hyldahl is defending well.
Hatterway prevents Hyldahl from improving his position.
Hatterway takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Hatterway is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hatterway has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hyldahl defend it? Hatterway steps over the head and cranks it - Hyldahl is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hatterway!
