The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Telamon looks to land a right hand but Hawkwing moved out of range.
Hawkwing moves out of range of the body kick.
Hawkwing uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Telamon.
Hawkwing uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Telamon.
Telamon misses with a looping right.
A punch lands to the side of Hawkwing 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Telamon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Telamon is looking for a kimura here.
Telamon is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hawkwing!

Hawkwing is looking to improve his position but Telamon isn't that keen on the idea.
Hawkwing looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hawkwing turns into Telamon and is now in his guard.
Telamon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hawkwing would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Telamon has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hawkwing doesn't defend quickly enough and Telamon has managed to lock this one up! Can Hawkwing escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Telamon on a fantastic submission victory.
