The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams moves into the clinch.
Williams is pushing The Machine up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Williams is trying to work for a single leg takedown but The Machine pulls him back up using the underhooks.
The Machine is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Williams to keep the fight standing.
Williams drags the fight down to the ground.
The Machine tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams is retaining full guard.
Williams is trying to keep The Machine in close.
Williams has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but The Machine has passed into side control.
The Machine is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Williams is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The Machine has an Americana. Williams didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! The Machine is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if The Machine hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
