Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Po Panda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppo Tulppu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panda kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kung Fu Fighting by Carl Douglas. Tulppu is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Roy Jones Jr - Can't Be Touched. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Teppo Tulppu!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tulppu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Panda.
Tulppu smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Panda darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tulppu can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tulppu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Panda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tulppu pinned against the cage. Tulppu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Horrible takedown by Panda or perhaps it was just good defense by Tulppu which made him look bad.
Panda closes the distance and clinches up with Tulppu, looking for a takedown. Panda pushes Tulppu against the cage but Tulppu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Po Panda. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Panda takes a swing at Tulppu's ribcage but misses.
Tulppu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Panda.
Tulppu scores with a crisp jab that stopped Panda in his tracks.

Tulppu jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Panda slips a straight right by Tulppu.

Panda shoots for a takedown but Tulppu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tulppu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Tulppu missing with a left hand there. Panda was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Panda takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Po Panda has been cut.
Tulppu misses with a body shot.
Panda shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tulppu as he avoids it easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tulppu, as that shot connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tulppu closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Panda takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Panda shoots in and bounces Tulppu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Panda is looking to take a break and control but Tulppu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That was a close second round but I would say that Po Panda will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Panda arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Tulppu's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Po Panda!
