Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vance Hardwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Weissenberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weissenberg shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

Hardwood manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Weissenberg on his heels. He'll look to pass Weissenberg's guard now, I'm sure.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Fernando Weissenberg hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Hardwood throws a head kick but Weissenberg moves out of range.

Hardwood closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
