The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jansen looks to clinch
and Jamesion counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Jansen darts in trying to clinch
and Jamesion counters with a thumping low kick.
Jamesion tries a head kick but it misses.
Jansen moves in looking to clinch but Jamesion pushes him off.

Jansen moves into the clinch successfully.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Jansen.
Jansen goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Jansen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jamesion gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Jamesion pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jamesion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jansen but Jansen pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jamesion gets tackled into the ropes by Jansen. Jansen maintains the clinch.

Jamesion breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jansen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jansen, as that shot connected.

Jansen pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jamesion back to the ropes. Jansen follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
No joy there for Jansen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Jansen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jamesion thinking.

Jamesion changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jansen tries to avoid it but Jamesion manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jansen to the ground. Jansen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jansen.
