Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kris Ericson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Claude Van Damme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ericson comes to the cage accompanied by Face the Pain- Stemme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Damme is looking to clinch but Ericson is avoiding it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ericson stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Van Damme closes the distance and clinches up with Ericson, looking for a takedown. Van Damme pushes Ericson against the cage but Ericson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ericson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Van Damme. That did some damage!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Van Damme has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ericson doesn't defend quickly enough and Van Damme has managed to lock this one up! Can Ericson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Van Damme on a fantastic submission victory.
