Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerard Link (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Link has chosen Mr. Trololo as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Link misses with an attempted mid kick.

Link throws the kick towards the body but Taylor avoids it.
Link swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Taylor.

Taylor moves into range and clinches up with Link.
Taylor throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Link blocks it with crossed arms.

Taylor jumps guard and drags Link to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Taylor is pushing Link up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

That was a close round but I would say that Matt Taylor will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Link looks to throw the jab but Taylor is out of range.
Taylor shoots for a double leg takedown but Link sprawls well. He's pushed Taylor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Taylor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Link lands a left and a right that send Taylor crashing to the mat, dazed. Link thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Taylor avoids the head kick by Link.

Oh Taylor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Link is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Taylor leaves his chin hanging out and Link seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Taylor crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
