Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kuku Xumusu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Kivi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kivi has Xumusu up against the cage in a clinch.
Kivi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Xumusu blocks it with crossed arms.
A nice right hand lands inside from Kivi.

Xumusu can't get the takedown.
Kivi with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Xumusu tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kivi just stands there and leans against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Xumusu swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Kivi fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kivi tries to land a knee to the head but Xumusu blocks with his arms.
Xumusu stalling in the clinch but Kivi improves position.
Kivi lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Kivi lands a right hand.

Kivi prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kuku Xumusu. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Xumusu turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Xumusu manages to end up in side control.

Xumusu has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Xumusu stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Xumusu shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kivi manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Xumusu is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Xumusu drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Xumusu as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Kivi screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Xumusu! Nice submission victory there!
