Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karlsson comes to the cage accompanied by Mayhem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Karlsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Harper!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harper shoots in and bounces Karlsson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Karlsson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Karlsson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Karlsson has his foot on Harper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harper works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harper drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Karlsson dives on top into guard.
Karlsson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Harper wants to get back to his feet but Karlsson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Harper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Karlsson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Karlsson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Harper looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Karlsson trying to control the position from guard on top but Harper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Harper throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Karlsson escapes and throws Harper's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Harper on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Harper is trying to work for a sweep but Karlsson has mounted him!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Karlsson is really struggling to control Harper but he's trying to hold on to the position.
I really don't envy Harper right now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karlsson working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Harper is doing well to defend. Karlsson seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Harper is forced to tap and this one is over!
