Hill comes to the cage accompanied by Alice In Chains - Rooster. Velasquez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: target=blank>Down with Shane. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hill.
Velasquez doesn't manage to clinch there - Hill circles away.
Velasquez gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Hill misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hill misses the jab.
Velasquez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Velasquez slips under a jab.
Hill fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Velasquez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hill thows a left - swing and a miss!
Velasquez fails with a takedown attempt.
Hill throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Velasquez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A punch lands to the side of Velasquez 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Velasquez is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hill darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Velasquez's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Hill before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Trinity Hill!
Trinity Hill retains his bantamweight title!
