Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Assange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliveira's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, One Republic - All The Right Moves. The crowd seem to be enjoying Assange's choice of entrance music: Date Rape. The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assange swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Assange connects with a leg kick. Oliveira looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Assange moves forwards but Oliveira connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Oliveira shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Assange defends it nicely.
Assange uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Oliveira.
Assange misses with a kick to the body.
Oliveira blocks a head kick by Assange.
Assange uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Oliveira.
Oliveira tries to clinch but Assange is having none of it.
Oliveira connects with a good right hand that stumbles Assange. Assange circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Julian Assange has been cut.
Assange fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Oliveira sprawls well initially but Assange persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Oliveira has a hand on Assange's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Assange takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oliveira accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Oliveira works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Oliveira looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Oliveira throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Oliveira is looking to advance position but Assange won't allow it.
Oliveira seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Assange does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Assange is looking to control Oliveira's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Assange avoid being mounted?
Oliveira looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Assange is looking for a sweep. Oliveira is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Oliveira will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Oliveira wants to clinch up but Assange keeps it at a distance.

Assange's jab looks to have found its range, popping Oliveira under the eye.
Assange throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Oliveira sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Assange lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Assange uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Oliveira.

Oliveira doesn't manage to clinch there - Assange circles away.
Assange throws a hook but Oliveira blocks it.
Assange on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Assange gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oliveira throws a big right hand that misses.

Assange wants to sweep here but Oliveira controlling him for the moment.
Oliveira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Assange swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Oliveira looking to sit in guard and control but Assange gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Oliveira is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Oliveira has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Assange can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Assange trying to control the position from guard on top but Oliveira is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Assange got a little sloppy there for a moment and Oliveira has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Assange has managed to get both his arms back between Oliveira's legs - danger averted.
Assange is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Oliveira has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Assange is looking to defend but Oliveira has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Assange! Oliveira pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Assange taps out and this one is all over!

Rodrigo Oliveira opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
