The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasegawa closes the distance and clinches up with Maci, looking for a takedown. Hasegawa pushes Maci against the cage but Maci circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hasegawa is defended easily by Maci.

Maci looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Maci wants to free his trapped foot but Hasegawa is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Hasegawa has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Maci. Oh but Hasegawa has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Maci goes limp - he's gone! Hasegawa jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Go Hasegawa tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
