Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josh Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George Williams will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Ferguson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Williams!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ferguson gets caught napping as Williams dives in and scores a takedown. Ferguson manages to retain guard.

Ferguson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Williams is aware though and is defending well.

Ferguson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Williams uses from the top position.

Ferguson has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though.

Ferguson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Williams to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Williams shrugs it off.

Well Ferguson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
