Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Bedford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Hardin!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bedford fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hardin to the ground. Bedford is now in Hardin's guard.
Bedford looking to pass the guard.
Bedford wants to control from the top but Hardin keeps moving.
Bedford controls from within his opponent's guard.

Hardin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bedford gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bedford trying to control the position from guard on top but Hardin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Johnny Bedford.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hardin.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bedford throws a head kick but Hardin moves out of range.
Hardin fails with the takedown
and Bedford counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Bedford drives through with a takedown into Hardin's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Bedford is stalling in the full guard.
Hardin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bedford tries to stand but Hardin is controlling from the bottom.

Bedford postures up.
Bedford throws an elbow that misses. Hardin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bedford's guard. Nice move by Hardin!

Bedford had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hardin defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardin tries to free his leg and advance position but Bedford is retaining full guard.

Bedford throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bedford looking to control but Hardin passes into half guard.

Bedford wants to control but Hardin passes into side.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hardin tries to stand but Bedford is controlling his head.
Bedford is looking for a sweep.
Bedford keeping his opponent close.
Hardin cracks Bedford with a big right hand but Bedford just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Bedford wants to get back to his feet but Hardin drags him back down.

Hardin has hold of Bedford's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Bedford seems comfortable defending it but Hardin has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Bedford is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Bedford is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hardin couldn't care less - he's delighted!
