Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anselm Anthony Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander comes to the cage accompanied by Ride of the Valkyries. Rodriguez has chosen Realeza as his entrance music. Alberto Rodriguez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Rodriguez as Alexander shoots in.
Alexander fails with the takedown
and Rodriguez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Alexander closes the distance and clinches up with Rodriguez, looking for a takedown. Alexander pushes Rodriguez against the cage but Rodriguez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anselm Anthony Alexander. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alexander tries for a takedown but Rodriguez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Rodriguez counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Rodriguez moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Anselm Anthony Alexander has been cut.
Rodriguez cracks Alexander with a hook to the temple - Alexander is on wobbly legs here! Rodriguez swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Alexander falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Rodriguez wins by TKO!

Alberto Rodriguez decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
