Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dynamite Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Leighty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nixon comes into the arena with Fear is Our Tradition by Ignite blaring out of the sound system. Leighty has chosen Cowboy Dan as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leighty fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nixon manages to avoid it.
Nixon avoids the head kick by Leighty.
Leighty keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Nixon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Leighty but Leighty pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Leighty with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Nixon is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Nixon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Nixon walks forward, straight into a front kick from Leighty.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nixon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Leighty - the referee stops the clock and Nixon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Leighty. Nixon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Dynamite Nixon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Nixon takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Oh Nixon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
and Leighty counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Nixon! He's just covering up as Leighty starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

A relieved looking Dan Leighty thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
