Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Sieve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks comes into the arena with (Matallica) Ride the lightning blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

12 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Brooks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy Sieve!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sieve, right into the meat.
Sieve misses with a takedown attempt - Brooks sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sieve fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brooks, pushing him back against the cage.
Sieve tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Brooks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A head kick from Brooks lands but Sieve takes it in his stride.
Horrible takedown by Sieve or perhaps it was just good defense by Brooks which made him look bad.
Jason Brooks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Sieve.
Brooks closes the distance and pushes Sieve back into the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sieve shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brooks sprawls well. Brooks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sieve gets slowly back to his feet.

The cut above Tommy Sieve's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Brooks creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Brooks lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sieve backwards.
Brooks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A head kick from Brooks lands but Sieve takes it in his stride.

Sieve is trying desperately to land a takedown but Brooks is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Sieve.
Brooks lands a nice uppercut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sieve drops down looking for an ankle pick but Brooks pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sieve gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Brooks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Brooks connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sieve momentarily.

Sieve shoots in for a takedown but Brooks shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Brooks fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sieve.
Brooks rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sieve moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brooks lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brooks.

Tommy Sieve's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Brooks forces Sieve back against the cage and clinches.
Brooks has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sieve avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
