Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lalli Jaakonpoika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesper Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rush has chosen Tom Sawyer - Rush as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush throws a leg kick but Jaakonpoika moved away.
Jaakonpoika tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rush swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jaakonpoika fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jaakonpoika fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jaakonpoika dodges the punch combination from Rush.
Rush keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jaakonpoika shoots in and drives through. Rush sprawls well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jaakonpoika wants to control for a moment but Rush uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Rush is looking to advance position but Jaakonpoika won't allow it.
Jaakonpoika is pressing down on Rush's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Jaakonpoika looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rush is one step ahead there.
Rush seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rush postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jaakonpoika is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rush, into his guard.

Jaakonpoika seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rush for as long as he can get away with.
Rush pulls Jaakonpoika in close to his closed guard and prevents Jaakonpoika from doing any damage or advancing position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Jaakonpoika is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rush is looking to control Jaakonpoika's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rush avoid being mounted?

Jaakonpoika shoots for a double leg takedown but Rush sprawls well. He's pushed Jaakonpoika's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jaakonpoika tries to move into range but Rush moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jaakonpoika.
Lalli Jaakonpoika is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rush keeps the fight on the outside.
Rush lands a with a good body shot.
Lalli Jaakonpoika seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jaakonpoika looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rush lands a really nice looking cross but Jaakonpoika seems unphased.
Jaakonpoika takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rush stuffs the takedown.
Rush drops Jaakonpoika with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jaakonpoika looks back up at him and smiles so Rush waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Rush throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Jaakonpoika crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
