Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edilson Rubiera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Highway Star by Deep Purple. Rubiera is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: ratamahatta. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rubiera with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Jackson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rubiera comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rubiera shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Rubiera's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Rubiera moves into the clinch.
Rubiera goes for a takedown attempt but Jackson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Rubiera shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rubiera moves out of range of the body kick from Jackson.
Jackson clinches up against the cage.
Rubiera goes for a takedown attempt but Jackson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jeremy Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edilson Rubiera.

Rubiera pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rubiera avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rubiera chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jackson can pounce on him.
Jackson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rubiera is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rubiera changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Rubiera manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

It looks like Edilson Rubiera has been cut.
Rubiera walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Jackson swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

A relieved looking Jeremy Jackson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
