Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kien Ngo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Hutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roger Hutt told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hutt blocks a head kick by Ngo.
A big left from Ngo misses.
Kien Ngo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ngo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hutt avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ngo.

Ngo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hutt keeps working.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

It looks like Roger Hutt has been cut.

Ngo closes the distance and pushes Hutt back into the cage.

Hutt makes his way to full guard, as Ngo worked for a kimura.

Ngo is looking to improve his position but Hutt isn't that keen on the idea.

Ngo moves into the clinch successfully.

Ngo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hutt can't fight it off and eventually Ngo manages to take the fight to the floor. Hutt looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ngo tries to free his leg and advance position but Hutt is retaining full guard.
Hutt has a closed guard, preventing Ngo from standing up.

Kien Ngo has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Hutt avoids the body shot from Ngo.
Ngo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sloppy strikes from Ngo. Those never looked like landing.
Roger Hutt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ngo rushes Hutt and presses him up against the cage.
Hutt keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ngo's efforts to push away.
Ngo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Hutt misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Ngo turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ngo manages to end up in side control.
Kien Ngo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hutt is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ngo off and has taken his back!
Ngo wants to control his opponent's hands but Hutt gets his hands free.

Hutt has the hooks in. Ngo is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Ngo rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Hutt passes into side control, despite Ngo's attempt to control the position.
Ngo throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Hutt postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Ngo tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hutt presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ngo bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
