Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phil Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrison has chosen Ocean Colour Scene - Hundred Mile High City as his entrance music. Simon Harrison will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Harrison eats them both and turns towards Dragon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Simon Harrison has been cut.

The fighters circling - Harrison throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dragon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Dragon shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Harrison looks to land a right hand but Dragon moved out of range.
Dragon's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Harrison connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dragon scrambles back to his feet.

Harrison stuns Dragon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Dragon is breathing heavily.
Harrison's corner calls for a 1-2. Harrison obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Harrison has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dragon fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Harrison is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Harrison lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Dragon wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Harrison has him pressed against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Harrison creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Harrison is pushing Dragon up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Dragon tries to pull guard but Harrison forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Harrison gets through Dragon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dragon jumps guard but Harrison turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Harrison drops Dragon with a big knee straight up the middle! Dragon is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

and Harrison scores with a counter punch that sends Dragon to the canvas! Harrison smells blood - he's punishing Dragon with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Dragon has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
