Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tat Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Benny Caine!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caine blocks a low kick nicely.
Taylor lands a right hook to the body.
Caine closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Taylor did well to prevent Caine getting side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Caine trying to pass the guard but Taylor defending well.
Caine is working for a kimura but Taylor is defending it quite comfortably.

Caine is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Taylor is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Caine advances to mount.
Taylor is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Caine working for a submission but Taylor is keeping him at bay.
Caine swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Taylor is now in Caine's guard. A big mistake from Caine there, giving up the dominant position!

Caine throws his legs up looking for a submission but Taylor uses it to pass to side control.

Caine is trying to work for a sweep but Taylor has mounted him!

Taylor lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Taylor tries to control but Caine wriggling away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Taylor takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Benny Caine will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nice sprawl there from Taylor as Caine shoots in.
Taylor rushes Caine and presses him up against the cage.
Taylor lands a takedown into guard.
Taylor is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Taylor trying to control the position from guard on top but Caine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Taylor is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
We're going to have a standup here because Tat Taylor wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Caine tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Taylor swivels and escapes.
Taylor misses with a body kick.
Caine chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Taylor can pounce on him.
Taylor has Caine up against the cage in a clinch.
Taylor breaks the clinch.
Taylor misses with a two punch combination.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Taylor.
Caine has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Benny Caine has been cut.
Caine tries to sprawl but Taylor drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Caine wants to improve his position but Taylor is controlling well.
Taylor uses his free foot to push down on Caine's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Caine.
Taylor looking to control but Caine is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Caine really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Taylor has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Caine's face.
Caine sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Taylor is trying to control the action in half guard but Caine is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Taylor scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Taylor throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Caine is looking for a sweep. Taylor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Taylor is keen to just control but Caine is a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tat Taylor dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Benny Caine's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Taylor finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Caine gets caught napping as Taylor dives in and scores a takedown. Caine manages to retain guard.
Taylor is pushing down on Caine's leg trying to pass to half guard. Caine is fighting to maintain full guard but Taylor has managed to sneak the leg through.

Caine is trying to get back to full guard.
Taylor slows the pace down in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tat Taylor.
Caine stuffs the takedown.
Tat Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caine tries to keep at a distance but Taylor has taken the fight into the clinch.
Taylor is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Taylor has Caine pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Taylor pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Caine tumbling to the mat - Taylor dives into Caine's guard.
Caine has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Taylor should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Caine has tightened it up now! Taylor should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
