PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Celsius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Haukka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Celsius kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Prodigy - No Good. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haukka tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Haukka takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Celsius counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Celsius breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Celsius lands a nice hook to Haukka's body. Haukka takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Celsius shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Celsius showed some decent athleticism there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Haukka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Haukka can do anything to dispel that myth.

Celsius is working for a kimura but Haukka is defending it quite comfortably.
Celsius is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Celsius sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Haukka wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Celsius.

Celsius working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Haukka tries to hold on but Celsius postures up.
Celsius pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Celsius scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Celsius is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Haukka can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Celsius is working for a guillotine from mount but Haukka frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Haukka is in a horrible position here. Celsius smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Celsius is trying to control here but Haukka has managed to regain half guard.
Celsius seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Celsius throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Celsius is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Haukka is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
