Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Areli Durga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Barksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durga comes to the cage accompanied by Godsmack - Voodoo. Barksdale has chosen Drop The World- Lil Wayne ft. Eminem as his entrance music. Jermaine Barksdale has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jermaine Barksdale!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durga's corner calls for a 1-2. Durga obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Durga lands a nice looking kick to the body. Barksdale takes a step back to recover.
Durga dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Barksdale. That did some damage!
Barksdale throws a hook to the side of Durga's head but Durga sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Good standup being displayed there by Barksdale as he connects with a hook.
Durga on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Barksdale swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Barksdale comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Barksdale cracks Durga with a right hand to the side of the head.
Durga uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Barksdale.
Barksdale misses with a hook
and Durga counters with a body kick.
That kick from Durga tenderised Barksdale's leg. Barksdale is trying to keep his angry face on.

Durga has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Barksdale finds it's way round the side to connect with Durga's head.
Barksdale misses with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Durga tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A solid leg kick lands there for Durga.
Barksdale throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Durga counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Durga ducks under a wild hook from Barksdale.
Barksdale swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Durga takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Durga throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Areli Durga is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Durga throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Barksdale loads up on a big right hand but Durga slips the punch.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Barksdale checks a leg kick.
Barksdale thows a body shot but no joy.
Durga uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Barksdale.
Durga ducks right into an uppercut from Barksdale.
Durga is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barksdale fakes the body blow, causing Durga to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Durga goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jermaine Barksdale!
