Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heathcliff Huxtable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Hope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Huxtable might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Night and Day. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hope's choice of entrance music: Linkin Park - CASTLE OF GLASS. The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hope shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Huxtable as he avoids it easily.
Huxtable fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hope to the ground. Huxtable is now in Hope's guard.
Hope preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hope wants to get back to his feet but Huxtable is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Huxtable missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Huxtable content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Huxtable knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hope on the ground.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Huxtable connects with a nice short shot to Hope's temple.

Hope is looking for a sweep. Huxtable is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hope seems to have recovered his senses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Huxtable loads up on a big left hand. Hope felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Huxtable looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Hope can't hide his disappointment, as Huxtable celebrates the victory.
