PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Creepy Bergeron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mo Xarnus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Xarnus closes the distance and clinches.
Xarnus tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bergeron just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bergeron scores with a shot to the side of Xarnus's head.

Xarnus goes for a takedown attempt but Bergeron pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bergeron fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Xarnus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Xarnus throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bergeron was covering up waiting for the punch and Xarnus finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Bergeron wants to sweep here but Xarnus controlling him for the moment.
Xarnus controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Xarnus wants to pass the guard but Bergeron is keeping the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mo Xarnus.

Xarnus closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bergeron did well to prevent Xarnus getting side control.
Bergeron tries to roll over but Xarnus keeps him under control.
Bergeron knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Xarnus on the ground.

Bergeron is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Xarnus locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Bergeron is forced to tap!
