The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belt blocks a jab.
Some wild striking there from Salaam.
Belt blocks a head kick by Salaam.
Salaam tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Belt chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Belt connects with a body shot that sends Salaam's belly button to the back.
Belt tries a low kick but Salaam avoids it.
Belt lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Geiger Salaam has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Salaam throws a poor cross that misses
and Belt counters with a low kick, right behind Salaam 's knee.
Salaam is breathing heavily.
Belt thows a body shot but no joy.
Belt lands with a kick to the temple. Salaam shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Belt throws a nice inside leg kick.
Belt with a nice cross.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Salaam throws a left and a right that both miss
and Belt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Belt wants to clinch.

Belt scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Salaam beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

Salaam is rocked!

Belt scores with a leg kick.
Belt weaves into range and cracks Salaam right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Salaam goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Belt is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Black Belt!
