Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ha Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ha Young!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dick Shadow!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow jabs at Young's body.
Young swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Young takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Young jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Shadow misses with a wild body shot.
Shadow throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Young sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Young just misses with a punch to the body.
Shadow looks to score with a jab to the body but Young is just out of range.
A lazy left from Shadow finds it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Young misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Shadow.
Young thows a body shot but no joy.
Shadow misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Young moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Shadow fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Young looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Young ducks under a wild hook from Shadow.
Shadow loads up on a big right hand but Young slips the punch.
Shadow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Shadow has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Shadow throws a jab but it's blocked by Young.
Young jabs Shadow right on the nose. Shadow blinks but takes it well.
Shadow lunges at Young with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Young's hand.
Young pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Young avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Young gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Shadow misses with a hook.

and Shadow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Shadow gets caught napping as Young dives in and scores a takedown. Shadow manages to retain guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shadow wants to stand but Young is controlling the position.
Young trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Young postures up and lands a big shot to Shadow's brow.
Young pushes down on Shadow's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Young thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Shadow tries to kick Young off but Young keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Young wants to work for an arm triangle but Shadow is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shadow on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Young looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Shadow is looking to escape.
Shadow keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Young takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Young wants to control but Shadow is keeping him busy.
Young seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Young drops an elbow to the side of Shadow's head.

Shadow is rocked!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Young connects with a nice short shot to Shadow's temple.
Shadow is still in real trouble! Can Young finish him?
Shadow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Young. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Young lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Shadow quite badly. Shadow pulls Young in close trying to recover. Young postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Shadow on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Shadow doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
